Inaugurated in 1971 SciTech centre created internationally recognized state of the art design suite with the latest software application and hardwares with internationally recognized CAD & CAE softwares / PDM PLM. The design encourages cross departmental working together with modern systems and processes.

2015 Legislating the use of track and trace systems, The Government of India

The Government of India was legislating the use of track and trace systems for pharma products to eliminate counterfeit drugs from the supply chain and aid speedy recalls. SciTech developed a complete solution to enable pharmaceutical manufacturers to implement track and trace system for their lines.

2014 the Life Time Achievement Award

the Director of SciTech Centre was bestowed with ‘the Life Time Achievement Award’ from UBM, one of the world’s largest exhibition and media organizers who organize the P-MEC / CPHi Exhibitions.

2013 Global Member of the Year

SciTech’s Director Mr. Ajit Singh was honoured as the Global Member of the Year of the International Society For Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). The Indian Affiliate of ISPE, supported largely by members of SciTech Centre, has also been recognized as the Global Affiliate of the Year.

2012 the Pharma Industry – Life Time Achievement Award

The Director, SciTech Centre was honored with ‘the Pharma Industry – Life Time Achievement Award’ by the Indian Education Society (IES) for his contribution to the Pharma Industry.

2012 ‘Sri Ramanbhai Patel Lifetime Achievement Award’

Prof. H.L.Bhalla, Head, External Research and Conferences, received ‘Sri Ramanbhai Patel Lifetime Achievement Award’ on 2nd April 2012.

2008 Lifetime Achievement Award

SciTech’s Professor HL Bhalla was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by the FIP, the apex body of Pharmaceutical Associations worldwide

Another Lifetime Achievement Award was given by the Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA)

2008 Fabrafarma Machine Award

Won its sponsor the prestigious Fabrafarma Machine Award in Brazil for conceptualization and prototype development of pharmaceutical equipment

SciTech research and prototype development project enabled the sponsor to win an Award from The Institute of Packaging Machinery Manufacturers of India (IPMMI) for innovation in the design and performance of a Automatic Packaging Machine

1988 the Life Time Achievement Award

A Scientific Pharmacy Museum was set up at KMK College of Pharmacy, Mumbai. Over 200 final year and post-graduate science students have benefited by one day training at SciTech and high-tech areas of sponsor companies each year

A number of other Research Centres and Educational Institutions have been provided assistance by SciTech, including samples for research and development purposes

A Special Citation from UNIDO for Research and Training in the field of Pharmaceutical Technology.
